Alisa R. Barnes, O.D.
Dr. Barnes is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, completing bachelor degrees in biology and physiological optics. Dr. Barnes completed her Doctoral degree in Optometry at the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry (Class of 1990). Dr. Barnes completed residency training in ocular disease through the San Francisco Veteran's Administraion, which included intensive training in the management of glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, post cataract sugery, post retinal surgery, post surgical contact lenses and vision rehabilitaion. Dr. Barnes was a member of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH), completing vision screening trips to Mexico and the Philippines. Dr. Barnes is a past executive board member of the Los Angeles County Optometric Society, serving as director of education for 3 years. Dr. Barnes has been in private practice in Downtown Los Angeles for over 15 years. One of the most knowledgable and nicest optometrists you can ever meet.

Rosio Garcia
Rosio Garcia ("Roxie") is a graduate of the American Career College in Hollywood, California. She is a licensed optician and Certified Contact Lens Technician. Roxie also serves as our office manager, and is NCLE Certified. An expert with working with all vision insurances and services. Knowledgable with all contact lenses (soft and rigid), expert in glasses adjustments, and extremely friendly and helpful with all patients. Her determination and commitment to the office and our patients is unmatched by any others we've known.

Joel Interiano
Joel Interiano is a graduate of the American Career College in Hollywood. He is a licensed Optical Dispensing Technician and well trained in lens materials and design. He also serves as the second in command at our office. A very honest, and helpful individual, and knowledgable with insurances.

Elvia Rodriguez is a graduate of the American Career College in Hollywood. She is a licensed Optical Dispensing Technician and well trained in lens materials and design. Elvia is ABO Certified. Very friendly and helpful to all patients. Determined to please and satisfy our patients with their eyewear.

Madelline Luna is a graduate of the American Career College in Hollywood. She is a licensed Optical Dispensing Technician and well trained in lens materials and design. Also trained well in adjustments for glasses. A very friendly person upon introduction.

Students and Volunteers
As you can probably tell, we are big fans of American Career College. We participate in their externship program, which helps train future opticians, optical dispenser's and contact lens fitters. We also welcome in our practice students who are applying to the various Optometry Schools around the country.
